Enough...

Thu Mar 23, 2006, 8:14 AM
Well, the everlasting rollercoaster that is my life is at it again. A couple weeks ago, panic stricken over overdue assignments and portfolios, and then relieved when everything got completed. Bummed when my car died, but super excited when I got my new one. And now, we’re at it again – we’re going down the other side of that wooden track. The Gonzo Incendiaries was doing so well… and now? Late articles, none-existent members, people not communicating, web designers who couldn’t give a good God-damn. Where I’ve tried to lay down some law, I’ve been faced with retaliation, anger, and attitude, things that as an editor, student, business person, and socialite, I don’t have time to deal with.

I don’t ask for much, people who have a passion for their craft, and who wish to exhibit there work. I’ve collected a few seriously dedicated people, and a few people who believe me to be a joke.

I’m sending out a call for writers, journalists, or editors; people who believe that they have the skill and the passion to write for an online magazine. I’m looking for people who are willing to add to the energy and ambition of this magazine as opposed to taking away from it. If you read this journal, and if you’re interested in joining me and the other admirable writers of The Gonzo Incendiaries, then please email me at parisianpink@gmail.com or visit [link] for more information.

Dear Deviant Artist,

Recently, this club was formed for the rare breed of Gonzo writer often found on DevArt in the backwaters of search engine county. I believe that, in some small way, you can help. You are being contacted because you write, have written or shown an interest in Gonzo and would be a much appreciated member of the Gonzo Writers Club. Its early days and not much is there to show for it yet, but if we’re successful, I believe that we can create a new and active Gonzo community for all who create Gonzo and read Gonzo alike.

I extend my hand in invitation to you, should you choose to accept it is entirely up to you.

Sincerely, The Gonzo Writers Club.

No Problem! When I saw this pic I absolutely had to add it to the Faves list. I love Paris, I was there about a year ago, and seeing this made me miss the bread dreadfully T_T ugh, I wish I was there. Love the outfit too ^_~!
